When I select Newly added in API Portal> VOD Sort, and turn off the box, vod sort returns to default. Is it possible to correct, so that it remains on the selected choice?

for a box that i Have I do not see the red notification in software update when I've turned the box on .

I have to enter in the software update itself and then it says to start upgrade .

I think it should appear the notification on the home screen because the box was just turned on

It's a rather new feature, so I'd guess that a box with an older firmware version?

Yes it was a box with old FW so when i turned on the box, the software update should be there a red ballon showing that exists a new FW available

No ! The « new software red notification icon » feature has been added in the first bêta version (released on November 1st). So if your Z8 still have the previous official firmware, it won’t get the notification as this feature disn’t exist in this firmware. It has been added in the new bêta updates.

In the previous firmwares, you had to check yourself in « Software Update » whether there was an update available or not.

What i said is my box as old FW (previous version).That version has [SYSTEM] IMP: Added Software Update notification to home screen widget but it still not showing when i updated to this new version

Hello, 3 things:

1) I have noticed some things during mounting my NAS. I think it is good to share these here:

If I go to Filemanager app, under NFS my NAS is visible as //192.168.1.10:/volume1/movie

If I enter that into my NAS settings in the main menu, I get an error. I must leave out the : and /volume1 part.

so: 192.168.1.10/movie will work fine. It took me some time and frustration to figure that out.

2) A problem is that my movie directory has previous stored recordings and movies in the root and in subdirectories.

The Formuler 8 will add the subdirectory "Recordings" but I when I go to my recordings list am not able to navigate to other directories!!

I can access these in the Filemanager, but I do not want to use two apps to do the same.

Please make it possible that when you view the recording list, you can navigate to subdirectories.

3) How can I tell the system to use VLC as default player?

I have a Problem After Last Update with my z8,

I can Watch iptv normaly, but the VOD can‘t load the data So i can‘t Watch anything. On my phone works all without problems.
can anyone help me?

What are the remote control inputs/commands to operate the functions (if any) of the PIP feature? Or, is PIP on there, stuck in the top right corner in static fashion with no options available?
