  • Hi,

CEC is activate on my TV (LG oled b9)

The option CEC on/off is now avaible with new update on z8 but on activate :

    Enable CEC : on

    turn off : on

    turn on : on

    The problem is the same.

I can turn off tv and z8 simultaneous with z8 remote

I CANT turn ON tv and z8 simultaneous with z8 remote

    any suggestion ?

  • Use your LG TV remote > TV menu > check CEC settings

  • @175n

Hi, CEC is activate on my TV.

I want to use the remote of the z8 to ON and OFF my TV and my Z8 simultaneous...is that possible?

PS : with my tv remote i can only OFF simultaneous my tv and z8...the simultaneous ON dont work

    Yes, understand your expected results.

I tested with my LG TV and Turn on/off the TV with the Formuler CEC is working well.

What is your LG TV model? Do you have the latest firmware installed on your TV? Maybe try a different HDMI port on your TV (HDMI 1)

Post a photo of the CEC menu of your TV.

Hi my lg is oled B9

When you turn on/off with formuler remote, you use only one button ot 2 button (TV / STB) ???

I am looking to turn on/off simultaneous with only 1 button on the formuler remote...

The simultaneous OFF is working on the 2 remote (tv formuler) but the simultaneous ON is not working.

    my tv is last firmware

tested on the 3 hdmi port

b9 : settings / connexion / setting hdmi --> auto detection ON, SIMPLINK(HDMI-CEC) ON , auto synchro ON

  • So… This update promised an EPG offset fix. To be honest, I never noticed a problem with the EPG at all, until… this update.

The problem only ever presents itself in the EPG Grid view or in Single Channel view. However I adjust the EPG mode or EPG Time Offset, nothing ever is correct. If I set the EPG mode to UTC and the offset to NONE, then at least the Info Bar (the screen you get after switching to a different channel) is correct. but if I invoke either of the views mentioned above, then there are problems (mostly, there is a discrepancy in what program is actually on and what is listed as being on in the EPG.

I have checked with dozens of other apps, none of which have problems (and some of which don’t even have settings that let users meddle with how the EPG info is to be interpreted). In cases where they do have settings, UTC with No time offset seems to be correct for my timezone and/or provider. This is also the case for MyTVOnline2, except when I go into either of the dedicated EPG views. If I determinedly stay out of there (i.e. I use the OK button for an overview of all channels or I go no further than the Info Bar of each individual channel, then the displayed info is also correct in MyTVOnline. I would sincerely like it if this problem could be investigated and solved.

Should this be of any importance: I normally use an XCodes-based portal, and I can switch to an M3U line. The problem persists in both of those configurations.

    correct!

D’you mean to say you have the same problem, or what…?

  • Hi,

Great update and was excited about:

    • FIX: VOD ends early if paused

But I continue to experience this issue. Same as before where if you unpause vod, it either just ends or starts playing again but ends before the actually ending.

    Thanks

  • Jennie while you’re at it, please also have another look at the following so-called “fix” that was implemented in the last version of MyTVOnline:

    • FIX: EPG offset issue with certain services

This “fix” has totally messed up the EPG for all of the services that I use, regardless of whether I connect using Stalker or XCODES. If I’m on the channel list, the EPG is all right (that is, it shows the correct current program at the correct starting time. However, if I ago into “single channel EPG” or into the EPG Grid view, things are messed up beyond belief. Regardless of how I set my time offset or “EPG Mode” (UTC or Normal) it’ll never display programmes at their correct times. On the version before this one, or indeed any version before that, I have never had any problems with the EPG. Also, any other app that I use apart from MyTVOnline2, doesn’t show any issue. Most of those don’t even allow tinkering with the EPG settings, and when they do, the settings that I use are those provided by the various service providers.

So, at least to me, this “fix” seems to be more of a regression than a true fix…

  • in my case after last update, all my boxs alphas not working the catchup/replay option

    Always getting error

In all.my z8 boxs everything works fine

Same provider , different boxs, problem in alpha but not in z8

    Someone with the same prob?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Have you tested the same channel and program in the catchup on Z8 and alpha?

Please send me a video of the issue on the z8 to assist you better.

  • I have the same issue as Slashtiger and MichaelBe with the EPG, but also have an update which might help.

When I am at home I have the issue of the shifting EPG, that is that the information seems to be correct until you open the Guide or the one channel EPG. When the loading of the EPG is finished you see the whole table shifting that that programs are moving to an hour earlier.

At home my timezone is CET (GMT +1)

At the moment I am at my fathers and he lives in the timezone GMT and here the shift does not seem to happen.

I don’t know programmatically what could be the problem for this, but is looks like there is a connection that it reverses back to the GMT or UTC location.

I hope this can be fixed soon.

  • Yes

I tried the same channels and programs schedule

    Z8 all work

Tomorrow i rec a short video and post it for check
