Beta Update for GTV and Mytvonline 2 software 9.2.6

New beta MOL 2 for GTV released.

MYTVOnline 2 : 9.2.6 BETA

WARNING:

Install and use at your own risk. Software cannot be rolled back after installation.

Please keep in mind, this is Beta and could have also bugs or act unstable, it is for testing and not for productive use 24h with your box.

If you don`t want to test and report, please wait until official comes out. No Forum support in other threads if beta in use, beta issues should be discussed only in this thread.

HowTo Install:

Home Menu -> Software Update app -> press "1339" -> Red Icon and Beta Test SW appear (right corner) -> Press Red Button -> Now is the Firmware and Software shown, press now "OK" button for install.

The install process and reboot works automatically! Please don`t turn off the box or plug out the power supply, could damage the box. The reboot after update needs always much longer than usual, please be patinate and let the box finish the install. If necessary reboot later once again.

Beta SW 9.2.6 discussions only in this thread here. Other open threads with Beta issues will be deleted instantly!

New Features, Fixes & Improvements:

Increase Cloud Timeshift compatibility with more servers
Display episode list in ascending order
Add Cloud Timeshift shortcut to Classic channel list
FIX: Can't play recording if system language is not English
FIX: Crash when using certain m3u URL formats
FIX: Grid EPG doesn't load until EPG is scrolled
FIX: Frame rate not displayed sometimes
Bug fixes, optimizations, and performance enhancements

Beta Reports:

1. Just say that activating Auto Frame Rate (AFR) in player options, the channel takes time to load and slows down the GTV operation (when returning to the main menu, double tap to close recent applications ...) Without activating AFR smooth image and without errors.

2. Still micro freezings like if framerate drops or does not match. Streams are 25 / 50 hz and output set accordingly.

Installed the new beta and everything is correct in Spain.

Without activating AFR smooth image and without errors.

PS: I use the HDMI cable provided with the GTV

Means also with enabled AFR?

Still problem to choose audio language track. Only Auto/Stereo options are available when watching live. Chanel does have different languages - available to choose language track when watching record.

Does the other audio languages work if you chose them?

all good here now I did have a problem with one of my vod only subs after install wouldn't play a thing kept saying play token couldn't be played few reboots later all good

I also have image stop after 15-20 min on FHD. I check the server (my own) an channel did not restart. On GTV I switch up down and channel runs again.

Dont have any issue like this on Neo+

Anyone from developer team wants a line/mac activated from my server so they can try to fix these obvious decoding errors?

After the BETA update, still the same auto frame problem (channels that are slow to open by more or less 10 seconds). And second problem, still a stuttering image in FHD)

Here is my screenshot where it didn't work with the update, then I did a factory reset and now the update works.

My channels open directly but yes I have same stuttering on FHD. Very annoying on soccer.

I'm always afraid to install Beta updates since we can't reverse the installation. I didn't see it listed on the updates / fixes but does anyone know if this Beta update addresses the unrecognized Hauppauge 955Q USB ATSC tuner issue? I'm still using my Z8 for now until the GTV can support it.
