Security update - firmware 10.0.31 and MOL2 10.0.31 for GTV released.

Firmware: 10.0.31

MYTVOnline 2 : 10.0.31

WARNING:

Software cannot be rolled back after installation.

Firmware: 10.0.31

NEW: Update to Android security patch level June 2022
NEW: Implement Private DNS.
- Access from Android Settings > Network & Internet menu
IMP: Recent Apps reinstated. Double-tap home key to access
IMP: Add "Enable USB Audio output" menu.
- Access from Settings > Device Prefs. > Sound > Enable USB Audio output

IMP: Wake up device using any key on the remote
Bug fixes, optimizations, and performance enhancements

FIX: Stuttering on terrestrial channels
FIX: Portal connection issue

Update:

Please note. The time that the update takes to reach each device may vary. This update will roll out progressively to all GTV devices over the next week.

1. Will be shown directly on home menu.

2. You can manually check for the firmware update from the System update menu, if not shown on home screen: Android Settings > Device Preferences > About > System update

After firmware update:

Open the Formuler Software Update app after firmware update is completed, to upgrade to MYTVOnline2 version 10.0.31 for GTV if not already installed with the firmware. Same with Tuner update to 10.0.32.

Confirmed on my GTV that the update is live. It should be live now for most users. For those who don't, give it a little more time since it will be available for everyone progressively over the next week.

Well. I did the above and after the security update, I “updated” from the Formuler update app and all I got was “Release Notes”

Tuner Service GTV v10.0.32

No mention of Mytvonline update?

Is this correct

You'll get a notification on the top right corner of the main menu when the update is available for your device.

On your screenshot was all updated correctly. Yes, Mol2 was updated directly with firmware update, tuner needed extra check and install. Corrected first post.

Since I updated yesterday. More often than not. The box has become completely unresponsive for 10-15 seconds at a time.

I’m also on occasions having to reboot the box to get it to work.

When it is responding it’s very sluggish too.

Edit: I’ve factory reset the box and it seems to have settled. I’ll keep an eye on it post if any further issue

i cant seem to enable my tuner and my portal both at the same time, if you enable one the other disables. also is the xbox tuner compatible with the gtv now?

I guess all GTV should have gotten the update by now.

I have updated mine and when you select Formuler update, everything is current but doesn't show the update description.

Wondering if this is normal.

Will there be some kind of fix for the last mol2 update? My GTV is slow and unresponsive after the last update.

Well, I'm happy for you, but after the MOL2 update my GTV is slow and when I watch iptv channels the sound is (or gets after a minute) out of sync and i had no problem what so ever before the update.

I also have an Z10 Pro and there are absolutely no problem with that box so the only explanation I can think of is the MOL2 update...

I really don't want to do a factory reset like adrilang did to fix his/her box after the update, I have way to many favorites in my vod and even more series and there will be to much of a hassle to remember where I am in each serie.

But if Formuler say that no one but me had problems after the update, then there is nothing wrong and my box has suddenly gone crazy...

On GTV inside MOL2 go to

Menu - settings - player settings and if auto refresh rate is turned on, turn it off.

Then see if it’s still laggy.

Since the last update of my Formuler GTV (and its remote control) made yesterday, most of my TV channels (about 80%) no longer have sound.

My installation works perfectly, my Z10 Pro Max has no problem.

I read that we can install the Audio Optimizer app through the Market but how do we on GTV to access it?

Unlike Z8/Z10 it does not appear in the list of apps.

Does anyone have any idea?
