    I just noticed the following issue in MOL3 (pretty sure this is new): on 1 backupprovider in the CM VODS show '0', but the VODS are present and are opening. I did a manual refresh content in MOL3 for this provider only. Still showing '0' in VOD movies (other providers showing correct number of VODS). No error 404 on the other provider, but I didn't refresh that one.

  • I know the thread on catch up has been closed, but I wanted to add some insight. I purchased a competitors box which is also Android 11, and I can confirm that catch up does not work on that box for the same provider. Therefore the issue is definitely related to Android 11 in my mind. The full version coming up the stock version. So I don't blame the developers on this one. The question is can it be fixed?

  • Catch-up works fine on Z11, what are you talking about? At least when add my SMB server on network settings i can record and catch-up to whatever HDD i have. Not sure about USB because USB needs some permissions and Android 11 have those permissions disabled and this new A11 boxes&sticks need to have an explorer app acting like a system app that can give read and write rights to protected folders like USB disks and Android folder...

    But formuler devs need to be careful here, because that way you will probably be able to access some stuff you shouldn't if you know what i mean...

    Either way you just need to have a NAS or computer with SMB server enabled (probably need to enable SMBv1 on windows - not sure) and in formuler own network settings you can add that disk and it will appear on MOL3 when you set up catch-up in settings and recording also. I've tested and works, it will create a folder on that disk and will use it as cache for catch-up and it will store recordings there...

    Is deactivated and not supported any more, because of many security risks. Only 2 and 3 are supported.

    Okay, try this without your SMB (most folks dont have it),

    Go to guide on live TV,

    select show that has icons that indicate catch up,

    arrow left to previous show

    Select - tell us what happens.

    On my Z10p i can watch the show.

    On my new expensive, really fast Z11pm - NADA! Error message.

    It's between mol3 &/or Android 11 (see post 127)

  • I can watch everything up to 3/4 days very quickly, almost no LAG and in FHD. But yes, it's VPN or IP address related. I remember i had that error with french vpns and switzerland also, no problems in spain or italy...

    Maybe try to ask your provider to allow all ip address countries?? Or ask them why they block france and not Germany for example...

  • On another issue, not sure if anyone is getting this annoying static errors when opening a channel or stream that need AFR or even when i start the box i get static for a few seconds before i get an image, i don't remember getting this behavior before this beta update. Anyone?

    Located in North America - No VPN on any device, SAME provider on 3 devices, Z10 works perfectly, Z11 Error. Tried both devices simultaneously

    Law of Averages - Z11 has the catch up issue.

    Now, if you don't use EPG but go about the Menu way, it does work. Which negates Android 11 issue. Def mol3 bug in EPG.

    Little update on the 404/refresh issue (still using Cloudflare - Z11 PM always on standby after shutting down - daily automatic content update on at 05h).

    - Automatic content update was fine for a few days

    - Yesterday (Sunday) new content had arrived, but had to refresh (menu top red button) -> error 404

    - Today there was NO automatic content update (no new messages, no content updated) - never seen this before afaik

    Further I noticed after starting up some days there is 1 new notification (new content has arrived) and I have to refresh (top menu red button) and other days there are 2 new notifications (new content has arrived and refrech contents complete). FYI: sometimes I put the Z11 PM in standby directly from MOL3 and sometimes I shut down all app first before shutting down, maybe that could make a difference on the automatic content update?

    Strange behaviour ...

    PS: The few times I did a manual content update, mostly the 404 error is there, and sometimes it's not.

    Error 404:

    Tested with some manual content updates: when I wait about 2 minutes after 1st notification (new content has arrived) to do the refresh (menu red top button - to get 'refresh contents complete'), I didn't get the error 404 and portal connection lost so far. So, doable, and a bit annoying, but not solved yet.

    I have an issue with search. No matter what I search I get ‘no contents’ under ‘TV Program’ for every date. It will never find any TV Program content. TV Channels, VOD, etc appears to work fine. It is only TV Programs.

    Please advise ?

    hmmm ... strange behaviour continues

    - This morning after restart from standby no notifications & no automatic content update (daily schedule at 05h still on)

    - Last few days less EPG than before (some channels of certain group are ok, but most of them are not - the EPG of the past days is still there until about 2 days ago, nothing new since then). This is exact the same with 2 complete different providers.
