When will the real update be released?

Channel numerotation on favorite group seem to have a problem despite a (apparently) correct configuration on my side.

From that pic it looks like you are in the EPG after hitting the "OK" button on the remote. Goto a specific channel, after you have a channel playing, hit the "up" or "down" button on your remote, this should bring up an EPG overlay, from here you should then be able to hit the "left" on the remote to goto "Groups/Categories" then over to the left again to access the edit Groups + Channels!

Like i can see in my tests, this beta is very stable so i think the official could come between 15th and end of May. Depends always from QA.

Ahhh ok, got it.

Done that and it works.

Is the gear icon then above groups meant to be a quick access button do you think? If not then either it possibly should be or removed...

I created a group as a test to see if I can then select the gear icon and it didn’t work.

In the jpegs Sam posted, it suggests you can select that icon, or maybe it’s possible when the final release is available.

In any case, your method worked.

So far...

Group editing works great (apart from the gear icon not working for me) slick UI for removing channels

HLS fast boot is good

WiFi connection speed to MTOL2 appears to be quicker

Recording one channel and watching another was perfect

Catchup works properly now without disabling Timeshift

Great stuff, just had a quick look.Really fast channel change

Nas Drive still getting kicked when restart with VPN on auto connect. I switched VPN off and Nas stays connected on restart

First off the new UI looks amazing.. well done.

Also also I no longer am having a problem with the catch-up TV jumping backwards... Brilliant .

One thing .. when you press the up or down arrow whilst on a channel to bring up the overlay EPG, it be nice if you could then click the right arrow whilst a channel is highlighted to take you to the catchup page for that channel... If that makes any sense.

Having agreed with your method above I can now also say that if you’re on a channel, press groups on your RCU and then press left, group settings will appear also

Before someone post, something is not working ( in my test works everything like i posted pictures), please take your time and test first roughly. In many cases it is just the logic how to reach something. Do also some box restarts, cach clearing , roughly tests and you will see all is working.

Having read your info above I can continue to report that still the gear icon for group settings, above the favourites bouquet is unable to be selected (at least for me)

Device restarted, cache cleared etc etc but still cannot select the icon.

I’ve posted about the alternative way to reach group settings in any case but wanted to advise about the icon also.

How does watch one program and record another work? I have multi connection xc.

New update is really great.

The only thing I do not like is the restriction of 100 channels into the favorites group we have created/we create.

Before the update, I had a favorites group with 164 channels.

Now, I have to create two favorites groups to recover my 164 faves.

Maybe you could disable that restriction of 100 in the final update?

I’m not sure if this implemented, but is it possible to turn off parental control so don’t have to enter pin every time?

Also would it be possible to say click an actors name, and the vod section would then show all titles with that actor in?

You don’t select it, I think it’s showing you can press left to access it?

I agree with this. Would really like to see an option for more than a 100 channel limit in each Favorites/Group. I also had around 179 channels before the beta update in my Favorites group. Would like to have an option to continue using 1 Favorite/Group instead of being forced to split them up into 2 groups.

Oh ok. Maybe I found it a bit misleading then. I assumed it was saying “back” as in back to previous menu other than “press left”

If in that case, all seems to work fine so far.

You don’t need to find a multi connection option.

This feature applies to those with multiroom subscriptions from their provider.

Simply put a channel on and press record button.

Then change channel as normal.

The red record icon will stay on top right of the screen whichever channel you’re on until you stop the recording of the initial channel / programme

I lost my numbering 1, 2, 3, 4 etc ... for the numbers 100, 103, 234, 432 etc ...

I emptied the cache but nothing to do I am not able to return with my automatic numbering ...

Suggestion ???

Jealous that all the people who got the update are able to sort their channel in their desired order,

It was said on Page 3 of this chat by 175n which stated "Known issue. Will be fixed before official release."

Are you able to access the Groups Editor to create additional Favorites Groups? If so, when you are in the Favorites Editor, go to your Favorites/Group that you want to rearrange, goto one of the channels in that group + long press on that channel, it should give you the option to move the channel up or down!

Thanks for these great update.

If I'm conected over a portal, I'm not able to Record a channel and watch another one. It's not possible to change the channel. It shows a message.

But if I'm connectet over a playlist (same provider) then it works.

Bug in the software or is it a config problem of the provider side?

And also the numbering problem in the created favorites list.

Overall great stuff this update.
