Z8 pro - error code 7

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to the formuler IPTV boxes and recently purchased the z8 pro. My current IPTV provider has worked solid for over 4 years and I'm trying to transfer it over to the z8pro. However I am getting this message:

ERROR

Your account is blocked.

Contact your service provider.

Code 7.

Now I have spoken to the service provide who has insisted it's all set up correctly on his end. I've had his service on a box from infomir for years. I'm entering the portal URL in correctly. On the infomir box for this provider I can pause live TV - timeshift and has 24 day catch-up on the most popular channels + tons and tons of VOD Content that the whole family use. The only reason why I'm switching is because of the lag and freezing! So I really want to keep this service.

Any tips as to why this isn't working? I have a VPN also set up although I don't normally need it for this service.

Really appreciate any help anyone can provide. Thanks

If you are using MAC-ID authentication, tell your provider the ID that starts with 001a79

Try missing / or /c off end of portal . I have one that is insistent that it is /c/ I kept trying ended up with just / at the end

Thanks for your replies guys but he cmhas the correct Mac ID. And the portal has no / or c at the end.

I'm at a dead end!!!

Provider mentioned emulators? Have no idea what that might be?

Try putting one at end / or /c or /c/. As I said I have had a few that tell you things but Some are resellers and don't really know

Still no luck! So frustrating bcos so many providers trials work but not the one I regularly use - and he doesn't come back with much info.

Anyone have and service providers they can recommend through DM?

Hi,

I have the same problem with my Z8 Pro, I got my first Z8 Pro today and I had it setup with portal but it just load to 10% and then give me that error code 7.

It works with m3u but not with portal,why? I have my other 2 older Z8 setup with portal and I would like this one setup the same way.

I know the provider, Everything is correct on his side.

Any ideas?

make sure 100% everything is right if typing in manually. I have done on many occasions and then noticed a , or . wrong and then I've noticed.

not saying that is problem but could help

I was just reading the first post again, So the provider changed the mac address on the subscription and not created a new subscription? I did the same thing, moved one of my Z8 subscriptions to the new box. We have done that on Z7+ and Z8 boxes without any problems but maybe the Z8 Pro model have a issue with that?

Thanks, My portal ends with /c/ and I will try to change it to see what happens. I deleted the portal and created it again just to make sure that it was correct but that did not help..

Hi just an update on my original post. I asked my provider to set up a trial on another z8 pro I have and he's given me same URL for the portal however instructed me to enter some more info into NTP server settings, this is of course because he's assuming I have a famous !nf0m1r box. Does the z8 pro and my TV online 2 have any settings to edit this NTP server settings?

If not I think my provider must only provide for the !nf0m1r box!

Just ask the provider for Xtreme Codes Api Setup:

Xtreme Codes Api Setup is almost same like Portal, the only difference is you don`t need to register MAC/ID but you have to insert login data (username and password). Provider gives you directly this data or it is shown in Dashboard from your subscription. Let`s assume provider give you data for example: "http://xtremec.com:1111" or "http://xtremec.com", username:11111 and password:22222.

Portal Nickname (example): XC_A

Portal URL: "http://xtremec.com:1111"

Is the login required?: yes, please activate.

Username: 11111

Password: 22222

Just make sure your system time is correct. NTP is built-into Android system. There is no need (or way) to re-configure it.

Hello all,

I have been using Z7+ for many years without any big issue.

Today, I bought new Z8 Pro and was very excited, updated firmware and software but unfortunately there is an issue.

I called my provider and ask him to change the ID and enter new ID. He confirmed the change but when I connected, got the message "Your account is blocked. Contact you service provider. Code:7"

I was with him on the phone and he put both MAC address and ID written on the packing and box itself but both MAC or ID is not working getting the above message. I also confirmed that both ID and MAC is correct on the screen of MOL2. My provider told me that correct information will starting with "00 1A 79 ......." but I insisted to try MAC as well.

Now I connected old Z7+ and everything is all right and working.

So for now Z8 Pro is unusable for me, any idea what is wrong with the latest box.

This is the correct info needed - Label calls it " iD"

However all you need is url, username and password.

Correct and only this one (ID) is necessary for your Provider to register your MAC/ID. When we say ID we mean MAC.

Do you have a 2 connection service?

Z7+ is registered on provider service.

Asked provider for Xtreme Codes Api Setup - url, username and password.

No, I have not 2 connection service. I have been using this provider for many months without any major issue.

Provider changed the MAC/ID in my profile, but no luck. I don't think provider has any other method for connecting but I am not sure.

Yesterday, provider was on the phone with me and trying different methods.

00 1A 79 is wrong, should be registered as 00:1A:79 and refreshed on provider side. After few minutes the new ID is active and should work on new box.

The second method would be Xc Api like greenfordray suggested, or M3u playlist. All of this 3 protocols should be possible with your sub, depends only from your Provider what he is ready to share.

Check also if your new box have full internet connection, youtube working and no exclamation mark (!).

Sure he does.

You should only use one device at a time for single connection service.

Just ask them for Xtreme Codes Api Setup or see these video guides showing all methods for setting up the service,

Should I assume that Z8 Pro will not work with MAC/ID based providers or it is not made for these providers?

can confirm that Z8 pro does work with mac ID.

Suggest you get a trial with a provider with the Z8 pro ID starting 00:1A:79

Can confirm it works with Mac ID as I had a trial with one service provider, had to turn VPN off for it to work as it was a requirement.

My provider only offer MAC based service, I cannot change provider soon.

Is this a bug in MOL2 as Z7+ is working perfectly or just my box has this problem? I am frustrated now. I was very excited to get Z8 Pro.

Reconfirm your Mac ID ( 00 1A 79 ** ** ** - replace ** with info from your device label) with your provider.

After they confirm, set up Z8 pro.

I followed advice others gave you and it worked.
