Having an issue with my box. Have a hard wired Ethernet cable running right to the box. Now all my apps and vod’s will not load and say no internet connection. The only app that works is both live tv connections. Any help to get the other apps connected would be appreciated

Try to connect to the mobile hotspot and check if you get the internet. If it works, take a photo of your router that shows the brand/model name.

You can also use advanced ip scanner to see if the Device is connected to your network it's a free utility comes in handy

As soon as we switched routers to the mesh network it stopped working.
W60 Router is unknown for me, but all of mesh routers have almost same settings. The Repeater in mesh network have to use the settings from mesh master, in this case your W60. If the setting was changed and worked before than you have the solution.
Do you get with your box "Exclamation Mark" in home menu under Ethernet icon? Please click on it and use next setting IP->DHCP and execute once. Restart the box.

If you head to settings, network&internet, ip settings choose dhcp press ok reboot your device (restart) see if this helps

Are you using a VPN?

You can delete the cache of the device and see if this corrects it
Settings, Device preferences, storage, internal shared storage, cached data press ok and confirm deletion
Note: if your hardwired and wifi is on this causes some confusion for the device

Yes, please do factory reset but i have doubt that some setting in your router affect this.

Hi, is there any update on this issue? My Z10 just dropped connection earlier and I am getting 'limited connection' on ethernet and wifi. Even tried hotspot via my phone and still not connecting? Not internet issue as firestick is working fine, also did a factory reset and tried connecting back to my router and 'failed to connect' message. I checked port forwarding on my router settings and there's none - any ideas?

By way of update - did a factory reset, reinstalled everything and it worked. Very strange - but hope this helps someone in similar situation

I have also seen this in the past when resuming from sleep, using a Tenda router, most of the time for Wifi, but sometimes also on wired Ethernet. For me it usually recovered after a reboot.

Hello!
I have bought a new GTV but can't get it to work with ethernet. I have tried the factory recipe but it does not want to help. I have a GTV from before and all the settings are the same as in it. Everything works if I use Wi-Fi but with Ethernet it won't work. Could it be something wrong with the box? Is there anything I should try?

You have to give more informations to get help.
1. What says the log file from router when you connect the box with ethernet cable and router? Does the box become IP?
2. Did you try with other ethernet cable and other port on router?
3. Did you deactivated Wifi first and then connected the ethernet cable?
4. Started also youtube?
5. What kind of error appear?

1. With some routers, after executing dhcp on the box the router have to be restarted/power cycled.
2. both wifi and ethernet should not be connected at the same time as this can be detected as conflict with some routers.

I want to thank you for all the tips but I can't.
I have tried with 3 different routers.
I have tried turning off the router, leaving it without power.
I have tried several different cables and different ports in the Router.
I've tried booting with WiFi first and Ethernet after that and vice versa.
When I try Ethernet I turn off Wi-Fi in the GTV and also on the Router.
I don't get Connected to the Internet, Ethernet Not connected it says in the settings. YouTube won't start.
IP-DHCP is enabled.
I have the Z8, Z8Pro and GTV working no problem but the new GTV I bought doesn't work with ethernet, Wi-Fi works so I can use my new GTV but still want ethernet to work.

I have now run "Wipe data /Factory reset" again but it doesn't get any better.

Ok, good possible that the new GTV have faulty Ethernet port, please contact seller for replace.

if warranty is active replace it else use a usb ethernet adapter.

Hello! I got help from the seller, they tested my GTV and couldn't get the ethernet to work, probably something wrong with the connector they thought. They had received a box a few weeks ago with the same error. I got a new GTV. 😀👍
