Important:

Please use backup function first and save MOL3 data on USB stick, before you start with the update.

Software cannot be rolled back after installation.

If serious errors occur, please do factory reset.

Hi,

I have updated to the latest official firmware. I've encountered a few issues.

1. At random times it'll just boot me out back to the main screen. If I leave a recording to happen, sometimes it'll happen mid recording as well. I don't know what promise it to boot me out.

2. DVR is a mess. It'll record some parts of the show and then just randomly stop. I used to format drive with Rufus and even change to letting formular format the drive and it's the same issue. I've even change drives. It just randomly stops recording.

3. Sometimes when I'm changing channels, it just freezes. And then will boot me out of the program.

Anyone have a workaround for these? Does the beta firmware address any of these issues?

Hi

Just installed this, first impression:

- I think there's a little bug: on the RCU the left bottom is programmed to go directly to live tv in MOL3. When I'm in the menu of the content manager and press this button, I get kicked out of MOL3 (going to home Formuler menu). Sent tracking 0000001735717 again a few times after this happened.

- I still get kicked out of MOL3 after starting MOL3 sometimes

Will report again if other issues occur.

For some reason when I press the power button to put the z11 to sleep, the tv no longer powers off. CEC is enabled on Samsung TV and in Formuler settings. Powering on the Z11 does not start up the tv either. Any advise? Using the left hand TV/SMB button does power off the TV when pressed.

It seems something goes really wrong on your box or usb stick..

I would in your case test first with some tool the usb stick for errors on pc, format again and factory reset the box. Without backup restore, fresh install.

Check HDMI CEC Settings, set and then reboot both, box and TV.

I also can't sign on to my opensubtitles account from the settings but also it looks like it isn't required. I can download and enable subtitles without being signed on.

Still no more than 1 day EPG! Come on please, how I suppose to record while vacation away from home. MOL2 much better - you can schedule recordings from both types of EPG for about a week at least.

I have changed from XCAPI to Stalker protocol.

Have to say I enjoy my box a lot more now.

So far things work great.

Maybe consider doing the same.

Don't forget to set the EPG mode to alternate when on stalker prorocol.

Unable to reproduce the issue.

Try the following:

Unplug the power from your Formuler.

Unplug the HDMI cable from your Formuler.

Wait 10 seconds and plug in the HDMI cable.

After that, plug in the power cable and test the CEC again.

I was now able to sign on to Opensubtitles in the settings after creating an account on opensubtitles.com. Before I only had an account on opensubtitles.org.

This bug still exists; startup MOL3 starts auto up but stops again and goes back to the main screen. (I have set MOL3 to auto start)

It seems that the back jump in live tv is fixed.

And I haven't any stop playing stand still pictures in live tv.

Just noticed a problem with latest update

On live TV if I press the back button to switch to last channel watched it kicks me out of MOL3

also if I Press the down arrow to got to actions then press the clock icon for history I also get kicked out of MOL3

I have tried rebooting both with a simple restart and a complete shutdown.

The intermittent loop back of 20 seconds on live tv, now appears to be fixed, I’ve had no reoccurrence since the latest update. Nice job! 👍

I have z11 promax bt1 edition which I won on the give away. My 4th formuler. I love it except it crashes everytime I try to use search on syncler app. Works good on my gtv sp it must be the box. I love everything else, but this is a big issue for me

If the syncler app is crashing, reach out to the developer of that app to see if the issue can be fixed.

When I look at the EPG I can go back several days but only forward one day. Isn't it advantageous to look several days ahead?

What is the point of being able to go back for example 4 days?

EPG Data Settings 7 days.

With single EPG, I can see several days ahead.

IPTV type is XCAPI.

How to end Time shift without leaving the channel?

On XC 1 day ahead is unfortunately a longer known issue,of course it would be adventageous to look several days ahead,this however is not fixed yet!

The point of going back for example 4 days is that you can use catchup/replay feature,for selected channels.

I end Time shift by simply pressing OK button,a menu shows up asking you if you are sure you want to leave Time shift,or cancel, and than you will stay on the same channel

The channels where catchup/replay is available are marked by a red dot with a little triangle inside.

Mark ,not every provider offers catchup/replay,so you have to take it up with them.

Short update

No new issues so far.

Retaken from my earlier post #11:

-> When I program another bottom button on the RCU as 'go directly to live TV in MOL3' the same problem is there (so going directly to the main menu of the Z11) - as said: this happens only from the content manager menu in MOL3

- I still get kicked out of MOL3 after starting MOL3 sometimes

-> this happened only a few times
