With this beta I have enlarged icons and fonts in the app how doi change it to normal size?

The UI size is really bigger and zoomed (android settings) than previous versions.

Maybe your screen resolution has defaulted to a lower setting?

I can also agree that some of the UI size is larger, however, I honestly kinda dig it..easier to see imo of course haha but may not be bad to have an option to change the overall size

yes make it an option to change the size of the u.i I dont like it big

After installing the beta version, the "no internet connection" as been solved.

After installing both the first beta (v1.4.55) + the second beta (v1.4.56) + running it for over 24 hours, I am still experiencing the "!" quite frequently when using Wi-Fi (use the 5G network) I am on Channel 153 + my 5G network name differs from my 2.4G.. I do not have the ability to test Ethernet. It does not matter if I am in MOTV, TiviMate, Plex, or the Youtube app. Whatever app I am in will stop + take anywhere from 10 seconds to several minutes or sometimes a reboot in order to get the connection working again. I have tried with both the IPv6 turned off + on. Tried with VPN off + on does not make a difference either. I have another Z8 box in the bedroom running that latest official update (v1.4.53) on 5G Wi-Fi + hardly have the issue on that one anymore

Yes Bou .. after updating to beta (v1.4.55) if you were having issues with "no internet/exclamation point on wifi" after the firmware update, then there is a second beta they are asking to people to try out to see if it resolves it

Despite the installation of the second beta (beta v1.4.56) the exclamation mark is still present. I do not have internet, impossible to be connected to mytv 2 (code 7). By cons no problem for the use of youtube.

I have also now reset my router/modem back to factory settings + reset the Z8 back to factory settings earlier this morning because the "!" on the Wi-Fi was happening so much. After the reset on both, still receiving the "!" at least once an hour + back to having to restart the box in order to get the connection back. So now I am stuck + not sure what else to do

i have the same issue about internet and !

also mytvapp crash in that moment i havent internet, so i reboot the device and everything for now is working fine.

I also got a message that there was a firmware update but couldn't find any info about what it improves. Was a bit wary about updating because my Z8 is working very well??? After using it for a few weeks all the problems disappeared and it worked fine.

Should I still UPDATE or not?

Can you set your 5ghz wifi on uour router on a channel lower than 100.

Like 48 or 56 or something.

Restart router then and then restart z8.

Worka fine at mine side.

But if you ask it the way you do now please do not install the beta and onky official releases.

Only i want to say thats it "safer" to install an official release 😉

i have test many betas version on my z7 plus and works very good many times but it be my first beta on my new z8 so ask some here

Tried channels 36 + 48.. both times resulted the "!" within a few hours trying them.. was watching MOTV2 during channel 36, the picture freezes + my bars in the top right of the TV are no longer showing any connection + had a Youtube show/video playing while on channel 48 + it just froze, stops playing + starts loading, had to restart the box to get the internet working again on both cases. I did for the time switch over to the 2.4g + it appears to be working way better then my 5g connection.. have been connected all day today + had not had any disconnects. I don't mind using the 2.4g Wi-Fi, speed is just slower. Will continue to test out!
