Hi,

I observe recording errors with the GTV on the NAS, whether with Mol2 or with Tivimate.

The recordings almost always stop before the end, sometimes they go to the end but it's rare.

Conversely, with my Z8, it worked every time.Of course I reproduced the same tutorial for the GTV with only a change of ip address.

I had read that there were some problems with the NAS with this update: is it really that and if so, do we have an idea of its resolution?

If not, then I confess I'm confused...

I will check later but i think it's default setting...

And for tivimate, it records without turning on the box while recording.

After update some channels work but some don’t. I do not have this issue with my z8 pro

Are there any plans to issue a new update? Seems like this update has affected everyone in some way.

I don't want to reset the box as it means all my settings and favourites are also lost since there is no backup function. Any plans at all to fix this Formuler? Great things were promised with this update. Instead barely anything to shout about was released, and made the system more buggy. How is that fair for your users?

after the update I have had some problems with the buffer I already did the test with a formuler z7 connected at the same time as the gtv connected to the same net by cable same provider but on different televisions of course on the same channel and sometimes on gtv the channel starts starts and even brakes on the box formuler z7 without problems always fluid. this gtv box cost so much money and is getting a big disappointment

Thanks for the update.

The image quality seems to be better than before in general, but horizontal stripes still suddenly appear on images with large solid areas (it occurs more on FHD channels, than HD ones, with screen resolution 4K 60hz or 4K 50hz ; it never occurred with the Formuler Z8).

Another strange problem : the scandisk key USB.3 256 go I used with a Formuler Z8 is not recognized although it has been formatted. I must use an old USB.2 key for timeshift.

Continuation of the tests:

Yesterday, I scheduled a recording and put the gtv on standby; I saw the box turn on a few minutes before the start and it went back to standby without recording...

I turned it back on and made an immediate recording: a few hours later, I noticed that it was still on (normal) but that the recording had only lasted a few minutes instead of 2 hours.

I checked the permissions of my NAS and everything seems to be in order...

I don't understand what's going on..

Android Settings > Device Preferences > Power Key Behavior > Verify mode is set to Sleep (Standby)

Open MOL2, schedule a recording to start 10 minutes from now:

1. Open the grid EPG view by pressing the EPG button on the remote
2. Navigate to a future event
3. Press OK on the remote.Do not press the RECORD button.
4. Manually adjust the Start Time parameter to be +10mins from now
5. Press SAVE
6. Exit from all menus and from the app
7. Press the power button on the remote
8. Wait 10 minutes in front of the TV to see what the GTV does at the scheduled recording time
9. Report back with your results

I did it.

I saw the box turning on but i checked after and no recording...

Occasionally after a wake-up (from standby) I get a black screen. After turning the box on and off it works again. However it is very frustrating. How do I fix this?

I have the same thing even After the New tuner update still the same problem

I simply don’t know what to do. I « ejected » both my USB keys (USB.3 and USB.2). As a result : they can’t be used anymore. The GTV considers that USB.3 has been « safely ejected » and doesn’t allow to do anything (I’ve formatted it again with my PC before inserting it in the GTV without any success). USB.2 is recognized but is not considered as « connected ». A nightmare.

Hello, I posted a message before in this thread because I was stuck in the gtv boot screen after the update.

I've received a new box.

I plugged it in and it immediately started downloading the v10 update. Half way through the installation the screen went black and the box rebooted. Again I'm in the gtv black boot screen. I'veet it sit for at least 6 hours and its stuck again! I've tried the toothpick method but this box doesn't have the button inside the ir receiver? I've looked for it for 2 hours, but it simply isn't there? I have the z8 for 2 years now and never had a problem. I'm getting the feeling I've bought an inferior product!

I'm using a Philips TV it also has gtv on it and it's called "the one". I'll try on a monitor. Can you tell me where the hard reset button went?

Well that's what I said in my initial message, I've tried that but there isn't any inside... My previous gtv did have it..

Wtf it worked 😁?! Ive connected it to my monitor and its starting the system update? I'm glad but Do I have to do that after each update?

Ps. I also have an seagate external 3.0 HDD and wireless Logitech keyboard connected when I updated... Could that have had any influence? Just giving as much info from my end to pin point the bug

Well I finally had time to connect it to my TV again and guess what? Stuck in the loading screen. Do you have any suggestions why I didn't have any problems with v9 and I simply can't get it to boot on v10? The Philips TV is a new model. I didn't have any devices connected to the GTV now. It works on my monitor but not on my TV. I also have a z8 and that one works perfectly.

Yep that WAS the case. But I fixed it an can reproduce the problem now. If you set HDMI Ultra HD to "optimized" it doesn't boot. If you put it on "standard" it wil go through the boot sequence. Maybe it has something to do with v10 and how it displays uhd/hdr content. I also own a shield that's also on v10 and it doesn't have the same problem. Hope I can help you and others with this info.

I have been having a problem with my GTV for days. When I connect to Mtvonline2 it doesn't take long and the channel I watch starts to make black screens. Sometimes it returns to the broadcast I am watching but sometimes the black screen stays fixed on all channels. The only solution I have to watch Iptv again is to disconnect and reconnect or turn off the GTV and turn it on again. To all this I must add that sometimes the image remains fixed in a channel and when I try to tune another one nothing comes out. I have the latest GTV update installed. Everything started after that installation. What should I do?
