With the beta version ( I just tested this one) I get no information of current program on channel list. However if I click on the right arrow on channel list it gets the information
If i go directly on epg i get the info also.
i just dont get on the channelist, but it was working on the official update

Ok strange because it is working fine for me. Try maybe to clear the cache.

Today came info that devs. fixed the epg issue already. Comes with official update.

its the epg when you see the channel list - the current program name

all permissions correct.
When trying to mount 192.168.1.105/Media or 192.168.1.105/Media/Record i get message "Input Network Storage Name"
i use a admin account that has all permissions
i can mount the share in X-plore File manager..
Had a freeze, worked after Unplugging and plugging in twice. All working again but wanted to let devs know, provider had no problems, whole family uses same provider and didn’t have the problem. (Masked the MAC address)

I think that mount button there should look like more like a button with some borders
And on the other image that I saw previously about samba it should say "status: started or stopped" Because now by default it says samba stop in frist time I thought that the service is already started and if I go there it stops . Or put it with a toggle like ipv6
By the way I dont see the image to activate samba on android settings in the tutorial

i have that error too some times now after beta update
FYI, the bug about the additional characters on the default keyboard is still there in this new beta. When pressing « Info » button on a letter, we can see all the additional available characters but we can’t select any.
I was looking at a way to erase VOD history but did not find anything in the forums through search.

Download speed is just about 10 m to worldstream server on speed test. If i take my other box (Stable firmware) and connect it to same lan cabel its upp on 600 700 m. Both boxes are z8.
I have a lot of problems with MOL2 freezing up and after reconnecting with the provider giving me an error (photo), after a reboot it will work but sometimes not long and some times a whole day.

yes and no, got the z8 a few months ago, I have this message with newest beta, the beta before and stable I had no problems with. After a reboot or two it does work again but because I am sure it’s not the provider I post it here because I want to let devs know if things are happening now that didn’t before

- Do you use a USB tuner with your Z8?
- Do you see any other error messages on the screen that appear out if the ordinary?
no USB tuner, I am not sure how it’s called but the provider url is in connections, a portal?.
What happens is the channel freezes and I get a loading circle, when I try reconnecting without a reboot I get this error until I reboot and it usually connects fine.
I must say that I didn’t had issues yesterday with it running whole day.
Next time I will check connection speed, maybe it has to do with LAN stability, my connection is 100/100 fiber. If I notice something out of the ordinary I will let it know again. Maybe it was a coincidence and the box needed a lot of reboots after the update but because it is Beta I wanted the issues I face known

1) i cant even remember when i restarted last, ill try doing that when i am home.
2) Ethernet, with fiber i meant that my connection to my ISP is very stable and i get full bandwith.
3) im in the Netherlands and do not use VPN
last time i had a error or problems was with my last photo post, stable from then on, once i lost audio but switching channels fixed that, its always hard to tell if the problem is local, provider, software, hardware. so many variables. next time i post a issue i will try to give more info on my situation. providers also can say nothing is wrong without them even checking, only comparison i have is family that uses Z8 (stable firmw.) with same provider.

Disconnect first all other devices (usb) and restart the box. If the issue still exists, do factory reset and let update install latest MOL2 beta again.
For me it's stable much better than the previous beta. No crashes at all.
Sorry to insist but in this Beta Version the VoD List and the Channels update only if you are in "Power Off " mode (not in Standby) when switched off, if you press "Refresh" in the menu or if you "disconnect and reconnect" from the "Connections" Menu.
If you are (as I am) in "Standby" mode when switched off, the VoD & Channels will not update automatically the next time you'll switch on the box (only the EPG will).

Yes this is correct.
You can also disconnect > reconnect in the connections.

I always got the VOD’s updated automatically even when turning the Z8 on after a standby mode (not powering it off)... It was like this in previous firmwares and same now in the latest beta.
The only thing you don’t get updated automatically is channel list indeed (the new « Refresh » button is very useful for this). But no issues with the VOD’s not being updated automatically while switching on from standby mode
